HAPPY WEEKEND, UNIVERSE

Vanity.

The hand of
G.o.d.
World of nine
Eras: —dark days, droopy time,
Failing age, time against
Time.

Creation sighs,
Universe gallops
Towards
Its day, Prophecies
Storm time. Forces
of life
Quake! …
Yet,
There’s one more
Hope—

I pray he find light
At the face of darkness

  1. The poem compresses a vast, almost apocalyptic vision into a sequence of fractured images where time appears both exhausted and at war with itself. It evokes a world slipping through “dark days” and a “failing age,” while the universe hurtles forward under the weight of prophecy and inevitability. Creation is no longer harmonious but strained—sighing, trembling, and caught in a storm of forces that suggest an approaching culmination or collapse.

What gives the piece its depth, however, is its final turn inward. After the cosmic scale of decline, the voice resolves into a singular, human plea: that even at the threshold of darkness, light might still be found. This shift transforms the poem from a vision of vanity and ruin into a meditation on endurance—where hope survives not as certainty, but as an act of will.
